Dean Jackson

Minister

Dean and his wife Lisa came to McElroy Road in June of 2014. He and Lisa were married in 1990, and they have two grown sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandsons. Tim, Kate, Judah and Ezra live in Lock Haven, PA, and Daniel and Ariana live in Lexington, KY.

Dean received his Bachelor’s Degree from Central Christian College of the Bible in 2006; he finished his Master’s Degree from Johnson (Bible College) University in 2013. Before entering full-time ministry, Dean served in the U. S. Air Force and worked in construction. Lisa is a licensed social worker, having graduated from the Ohio State University. She is pursuing her Master’s Degree in School Psychology through the University of Toledo. 

Lee Hull

Elder

Lee and his wife Debbie have been at McElroy Road since 1965 and 1968, respectively. They were married at the church in 1971. They have two grown children, Mike Hull and Sarah Stedtefeld, both of Grove City, Ohio. They have four grandchildren, Kevin and Bryce Hull, and Carter and Cameron Stedtefeld. Kevin is married to Brooke, and they live in Columbus.

Lee retired from Ariel Corporation of Mount Vernon, Ohio in December of 2019. Debbie is self-employed in Mansfield.

Lee served the congregation as a deacon for a number of years, and became an elder in March of 2020.

Jerry Kissel

Elder

Jerry and his wife Debbie were married in November of 1980. They have three grown children. Amy (Chris) Baker, Andrew (Chelsea) Kissel, and Jenny (Paul) Lykins. Jerry and Debbie have nine grandchildren, all of whom live within thirty minutes of them.

Jerry works at Emerson Shafer Valve in Mansfield as an inspector.

Jerry and Debbie have been active with the congregation since 2003.

John Mark Whaley

Elder

John and his family came to McElory Road in December of 1977.  His father John P. Whaley was the minister at McElroy Road for seventeen years.  John married his wife Debbie in 1989 and have three grown sons and a teenage daughter.  Connor lives in Columbus, Ohio and Morgan who graduated from OSU this spring temporarily has moved home.  Tanner and Payton also live at home with their parents.

John attended Great Lakes Christian College for two years and transferred to Davenport Business College where he graduated with an Associate Degree in accounting.  John is the Director of Broken Arrow, Inc., a company that serves the developmentally disabled, and has worked there for 33 years.
